well for the very basics,
my name is tan.yee.teng and i stay with my family in bangsar.
have 2 younger sisters and so that makes me the eldest one, which kind of explains the type of personalities i have.
i'm mature, organized most of the time, funny (i laugh a lot)
and out spoken (in my own way)...
doesn't have a specific ambition but to be a strong independent women in the future so that me and my family will be proud of myself.
after meeting many different peoples,
i now strongly believe in myself but not anyone else when i'm dealing with hard times in my life.
but of course,
family and friends are very important to me in terms of support.

sigh, these few days have been awful for me. in some sense, im too sick and tired to talk about it also actually. my right eye swollen out of a sudden past few days ago and it hurts so much that i couldnt make it to limin's birthday party and also to my job on saturday. sincerely i wish limin happy birthday and that im really sorry to turn you down at the very last minute, i didnt see it coming at all. while to my job, i just cost myself 50 bucks to stay at home cause of this damn infection. not only i look ugly but also i couldnt bear the pain and the tiring job at the same time. sob...besides, i also couldnt make it to sean's family kopitiam's opening today cause of it. all i can do is sit at home and stare at the laptop screen, feel so useless and time wasting. feeling indescribably lonely as well, people do feel so much weaker when they're sick. i totally agree with that, cause *touch wood* im that kind of people that got sick very rarely. even thou when im sick i still can push myself to do things i planned to do, like go school for example. just this time this tiny stupid swollen eye made me feel really bad, i dont know why. im just trying to release my feelings here, sorry for being so negative and grumpy.. have a nice day everyone!

July is the month of both my parent's birthday.
13th is my mom's while my dad's falls on 18th, this is always the time which makes me think they were really meant to be with each other. same first name and even birthday also so close to each other, hehehe...
my mom's birthday cake from bakerzin.
obviously its my dad that brought the cake, the flavour is chocolate moose.
superb! is all i can describe the taste of it.

this happen every year, sui yuan's birthday falls on the same day as my dad's. and so this year sean der, me, mei khoon, ruey yng and him went to look out point to celebrate his birthday.
its called look out point cause we can see the whole KL from the place.
first when we reach it was quite misty, luckily we can see after the sky turn dark.
the weather is perfect, very cozzy to hang out.

hi everyone, hows all of u doing..well for me, i've did quite a lot of things within these few days of absence.first i went to work for 4 days, for an advertising company called eBlast!.basically my job scope is to distribute as much company's in-house magazines as possible so those advertisements inside can successfully being transfered to the public. since im not afraid of walking up to total strangers and malaysian LOVE free samples, i've done a pretty good job and the company kind of likes me.and so, today i was being called back to work for them again in a Livita road show. practically Livita has published a new product targeting the female market called Livita Femina and my job today is to distribute free samples of that in Segi College.so far i've earned around 200+, not bad actually at least i dont feel like a pig that only sleeps and eats during this holiday. Sean.Der was out to kelantan for some photograph taking and so i took the chance to catch up with some of my friends. went out last night to farewell joyie that had left to Melbourne today. yi wayn, soo yee, tammy, sui yuan and jun hui were there too so we kind of had a primary gathering as well, had fun...not bad...was quite tiring actually but still last night i couldnt sleep, maybe is the teh-o-ais-limau or something else i dont know. just that these few nights before i sleep i will always thought of my duoh-mah and finally last night it brought me to tears. i was just recalling her existence, how i use to hold her hands since i was 12, all the time when my whole family went out. from now on, every chinese new year, every christmas, every family gathering she wont be around anymore which makes me feel so weird. i love my family gathering very much, love to see everyone in my house happily chatting and laughing together which makes chinese new year so meaningful to me. but next year's celebrations onward it will forever not be the same like how i always imagine it used to be, even thou none of us mention but everyone knows there will be differences for a very long time. i really do miss her a lot, so so much that the feeling of losing her is still eating me inside. sigh...

hey guys, finally i have something to blog about. ^^i would like to first introduce one of my bestie, catherine to all of you.
her birthday is actually on the 4th of July but very unfortunately that time she was back at her hometown, so we postponed the celebration to tonight which also happened to be a surprise for her.few days before me and my sis already went to telawi shopping and got both cath's and caryn's birthday gifts, which gave me inspiration to tell them 2 different story of birthday celebration so none of them know this is coming.then we wanted to have our dinner at the Marmalade in Bangsar Village 2 because there's this giant cupcake offered there and we wanted it to be Cath's birthday cake. BUT, tragedy always happened at the very last minute. me & shin was there first and we discovered that the giant cupcake will only be prepared provided there's pre-order, WHICH we didnt and it sucks. nevermind forget it, we replaced that with 20 mini cupcakes which is C-U-T-E.
who knows while we walk to our seats, there was an in-house birthday party going on inside. both of us were like *toot* cause this doesnt happen all the time at Marmalade and we are so lucky to crash with one. the worst part is, the birthday girl is a very young teenager which explains the way all her friends behave. believe me, its like as if we went to zoo with monkeys all around.that time caryn reached also, then 3 of us decided to switch to another place with a better atmosphere. catherine reached as well while we were heading to Delicious and guess what, its crowded until the waiting line can be seen far far away. another disappointments and we couldnt stand it so we walked out to telawi street, i was walking all the way with the cake holding in my hands. lol!finally, we found a better place (not to say perfect) which is the Talk - a Japanese bar. my first time being there, quite cozy and not bad. then we sang birthday song to her, she blew the candle everything goes smoothly finally. michael reached rather late but we were not mad at him, hahaha provided he promised to belanja drinks next time.of course, cam-whoring...

first of all, i would like to thank you guys for the awesome BBQ party. it was so much fun, so casual and so relaxing..and so, this morning i went to the orientation of my coming new semester with my bestie catherine. then me, her, li min, kristine, shao yong, seng ee, casey, eddie and ah lok went for badminton session at selayang mall before we go to eddie's house to prepare for the BBQ party.the fire was being set up at around 6 something due to the rain, prepared some garlic bread and spaghetti before that. the garden where we had our bbq is quite neat and clean, but not very well maintain thou.
the garden, the swing is for kid but we still sit on it.

last night went to KLPAC with my bf and my youngest sister, yee.hui, to watch the Drum Slices 3 performance.there are 7 parts in total for the whole performance, with the participation of 5 different local schools. Dhi-Zen, my friend from Chung-Hwa independent school also participated in the performance and he did a very good job..i've been to watch drum performance twice in KLPAC, both organized by the HANDS club but this time is more like what i expected to watch so i totally enjoyed it. of all i love the 4th group the most, which is a performance being done by HANDS performers combining many different elements of drums.
unfortunately we couldnt take any photos so not many pictures to upload, its really highly recommended if you enjoy the sounds of beats like me. ^^

this is the very first post about us, after bunch of ups and downs that had recently happened in my life..i love you, there's no question about it.i want to be with you as long as i can, and i'm sure that you're having the same feelings too.every relationship has their own problems, same things happen to us but i ain't going to give up just like that.i've figure out my own way to live with it and accept it happily, we just need to work things out together and im sure that we will. ^^i now have greater confidence again for both of us, and i sincerely hope that things will be worked out. love you...*i'm also missing you really much 'duoh-mah', seriously have been thinking about you almost everyday. wish that you're doing great with all of ours' prayers, love you!
